This module will teach you how to effectively organize your folders and files, regardless of your operating system or backup method (hard drive or cloud). You will learn how to rename your files and emails for smoother management, as well as practical methods for quickly searching for your files and emails. You will also discover how to categorize your images and documents so you can find them in the blink of an eye.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the basic principles of data hierarchization, including:
- Logical organization of folders and files.
- Using clear and consistent file names.
- Categorizing data into specific groups.
- Quick access to frequently used files.
- Adding dates and versions to track document evolution.
- Regular backups to prevent data loss.
- Classifying sensitive data and managing access.
- Indexing and using tags to easily locate files.
- Regular updates to the data structure to ensure efficiency.
- Learn to efficiently organize folders and emails.
- Apply classification methods to improve productivity, especially by facilitating quick searches of files and emails.
Total Duration: 1 day (8 hours), from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 2:45 PM to 6:00 PM.
The schedule is indicative and may be adjusted to meet demand.
Number of Participants: Minimum 10, maximum 20.*
Training Language: The training sessions are conducted in French. However, training modules can be offered in English for an additional cost of $10 per participant.
Location: Bujumbura, city. However, training sessions can be held in other locations across Burundi. For details, please contact us.
Required Materials: A laptop, a pen, and a notebook.
Cost: $20 (includes meals and training materials).

Each person has different learning abilities. That's why, during your registration for a course, we ask a few questions to tailor our sessions and ensure that every learner finds their place and can follow the module under the best conditions.
Course Structure
The training sessions run from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 45-minute lunch break at 1:00 PM. There are also two 15-minute breaks: one at 10:30 AM and another at 3:30 PM.
Depending on the number of participants, these breaks may be adjusted to ensure smooth progress throughout the day. Additionally, we recommend allowing approximately 30 extra minutes at the end of each day for a Q&A session, as the time required may vary based on the number of participants.
Each person is unique and possesses varied learning abilities. Everyone also has different knowledge. We strive to adapt our training to different types of learners.
